You've heard that it's good for you and more and more people are doing it.
So... why juice? Simply put...
We are LIVING organisms. We need living, fresh vegetables and fruits to thrive.
What does this mean? We need foods that are as close to their natural source in order to get the most vitamins, minerals, and enzymes into our bodies.
There are tons of different juicers out there. Some will extract the juice and leave the pulp while others will juice the whole food itself. Whichever type you prefer, your vitality and energy and the newly lighter version of yourself will thank you. You heard me right, JUICING IS A PROVEN WAY TO LOSE WEIGHT.
Chalk it up to feeding yourself with more nutrients in less volume. You get more bang for your buck by feeding your body what it actually needs to live. Personally I've experienced less food cravings, been able to drop weight quickly and keep it off.
Juicers may be costly initially yet it's not near as expensive as those pesky doctors visits due to failing health. You also save money from eating out less.
You can make juices TASTE GREAT too. You can keep your vegetable intake high and fruit (sugar) intake low and still make it taste good!!! How? Mint, cinnamon, vanilla extract, stevia leaf, etc. The sky is the limit AND juices are fast to make once you get the hang of it. Need an added protein boost? Add some protein. There's so many quality proteins to choose from.
I'd love to get into organic, non-chemical, GMO free, gluten free... Yet, we will save those for another day.
For now, enjoy one of my favorite juice recipes from none other than Dr. Oz himself:
