What's a girl to do?! Look to those that inspire nations and humanity for guidance. Today, that person is Mother Teresa. I do not want to be grumpy and I am mad as heck that sugar has this much control over my body! So, I am putting my foot down and I AM DOING IT ANYWAY!
I am putting one foot in front of the other and stepping towards my personal, family and professional goals. Do you ever feel this way? You know that your emotions are out of touch or maybe you are oblivious to them and run around living in your emotions. Let's not make a day of this energy EVER!
How do you get yourself out of the muck? STOP what you are doing and BREATHE! Close your eyes and breathe in as deeply as you can, counting to highest number you can without having to gasp for air. Then breathe out for the same number count. Do this for even just one minute and see how you feel. Three minutes or more is preferable for better results.
Next? Find someone or something that makes your GRATEFUL (Great & Full). It can be Mother Teresa, your favorite teacher, your parent(s), your best friend, or the homeless man you passed with a smile today on the streets. Focus on them/it and let your vibration change. See, fear and love cannot exist in the same point in time. It's a CHOICE and I choose love, now and always.
Today is a short post since I have to finish my lectures for our upcoming workshop this Sunday before the little one wakes. Enjoy another blessed day!
How did I do the past day on my goals? Ok. Personal goal of sadhana reached. College, check. Nutrition much better without the refined sugar, yet I can still improve with non-gluten choices (I ate my hubby's delicious pasta he made so happily last night :-) and my workout was another dance session. Still no weight session though. Family goal of spending quality time with my partner and daughter, check. Professional goal of working on our business and writing this blog is good as I've done most of what I can with the time constraints of being mommy, wife, owner, teacher and student.
How are your goals going? Please leave a comment below! I would LOVE to share this journey with you. ~ Char
Music Pick of the Day: Snatam Kaur's "Make the Love Grow". It's a cool children's song that Akasha likes. https://open.spotify.com/track/4JXahqejYkmUXo2ihDAQ64
